Myles German, CFP®, was born in Brooklyn, NY.  Hard work, saving money and investing has been Myles’ passion since childhood.  At age 13, he delivered newspapers, later he worked summers as a bus boy and during college he operated vending routes.  His high scholastic grades earned him a full tuition scholarship to The Cooper Union, where he obtained a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.  He worked as a bridge design engineer for eight years, and was a licensed Professional Engineer.  He also worked nights and weekends as a home inspector, helping hundreds of people make good decisions on their largest investment.

 

Miles recently completed the course work for a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning.

 

All of his hard work paid off.  His success and passion for helping people making sound financial decisions led him to a career with AXA Advisors, LLC.  Myles resides in Boca Raton, FL with his wife Shari and daughter Beth.
 

Myles is a member of the Sterling Group. The Sterling Group is a select group of financial professionals affiliated with AXA Advisors, LLC who are distinguished as having exceedingly high standards of experience, expertise and service in the industry.

 

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation means Myles has the knowledge, ethics, and the experience to help you develop your financial plan.  He is also an MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) qualifying member, an achievement less than 1% of the industry qualifies for.  MDRT is recognized throughout the industry as the standard of excellence in life insurance sales performance.  In addition, he has qualified for the company's Top Club, an honor bestowed on the company's best professionals and was a 2003 and 2004 Agency Leader.  Active in the industry, Myles is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.  Committed to professional education, Myles takes several advanced courses and other training programs throughout the year to keep up on the ever-changing financial environment. 

 

Myles has Engineered plans for hundreds of people, helping them get on the path to achieve their financial goals.  He has conducted numerous financial workshops on a broad array of topics, such as, retirement and investment planning, estate planning*, business continuation planning, college planning, and long term care planning.  Myles works with other advisors such as CPA’s and attorneys to help clients see their plan through to completion.
